As a long-standing partner, Football Media’s CEO, Dean Akinjobi, reached out to us to rebrand their main website. While the goal was to give the site a fresh and modern look, it was crucial to maintain the core visual identity and design language that Football Media’s clients were already familiar with. Additionally, we had to work within the constraints of a detailed and strict brand guideline.

Design Challenges
The main challenge was balancing innovation with brand consistency. While Football Media wanted a refreshed and modern design, we had to ensure the visual identity remained recognizable. Additionally, with a substantial amount of blog and resource content, we had to ensure data integrity and SEO ranking were preserved during the website migration.
Another challenge was improving service communication. The original site structure made it difficult for users to quickly grasp what Football Media offered. We addressed this by streamlining content, creating clear callouts for core services, and improving content flow and hierarchy.
Our Approach
We began with a full content audit to ensure a smooth migration of existing blogs and key resources. Working closely with Football Media’s internal team, we developed a visual strategy that maintained brand consistency while introducing a more fluid, conversion-focused user experience.
The new design featured a modern, clean layout with generous whitespace and strategic use of the brand’s color palette. A homepage video banner was added to immediately engage visitors and communicate authority. Service blocks were redesigned with a clearer visual hierarchy and strong call-to-actions to help communicate offerings more effectively.
To improve content clarity, we implemented well-defined section breaking and logical content categorization. This allowed users to navigate the site more intuitively and digest information in a structured, accessible way. The navigation structure was also rethought to guide users naturally through the website and toward key conversion points such as the “Contact Us” section.
We built the site with a mobile-first approach, ensuring full responsiveness across all screen sizes from desktops to smartphones, so the browsing experience remained seamless regardless of device. Additionally, we applied on-site SEO to all core and blog pages to improve search visibility and integrated Google Analytics for real-time insights into user engagement and traffic growth.
Results
Within six months of the website going live, Football Media experienced a significant increase in performance metrics. Website traffic doubled, driven by an improved SEO structure and a more engaging user experience that encouraged longer visits and repeat interactions.
